FFN Pathways
You Care for Kids.
We Care for You.
Our FFN Pathways program offers free training and mentorship to license-exempt Family, Friend, and Neighbor (FFN) child care providers, supporting their growth and the well-being of the children they care for.
How it Works
The program offers a three-part virtual training series and mentorship opportunities to help providers implement essential health and safety practices recommended by the state of California. A stipend is provided upon completion.
Completely optional: Providers who complete the training and are interested in getting their child care license can choose to continue with a second phase that offers guidance and mentorship through the licensing process. A stipend is provided upon completion.

Applying to the Program
The CCPU Training Fund’s FFN Pathways Program has closed applications for its Riverside County cohort. The next opportunity will be in San Bernardino County this October.
We’re recruiting for 25-person pilot cohorts in three California counties, and applications will be available in English and Spanish when San Bernardino’s cohort opens.
If you’re a license-exempt provider in San Bernardino County who receives state subsidies to care for a relative, friend, or neighbor’s child, you may be eligible to apply!
